Terms of Service

By inviting Stratus to a Discord server, using Stratus commands, or logging into the Stratus dashboard ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Stratus is a Discord bot with a web dashboard for server configuration, including moderation tools, logging, anti-raid and anti-scam features, and optional AI chat commands. The Service is provided "as is" and may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time without notice.

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. To use the dashboard, you must sign in with Discord and have permission to manage the servers you configure (for example, the Manage Server permission). You are responsible for ensuring you have authority to change settings for any server you manage through Stratus.

You agree not to use Stratus to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse others
• Violate laws or third-party rights
• Spam, raid, or disrupt Discord servers or the Service
• Attempt to bypass security, scrape the Service, or abuse AI features
• Configure the bot to log or process data you are not allowed to collect

We may restrict, suspend, or remove access to the bot or dashboard if we believe these terms are violated or if required to protect the Service or other users.

Settings you save through the dashboard (personality, prefix, moderation rules, log channels, and similar options) apply to the Discord servers you manage. You are solely responsible for how Stratus is configured and used in your communities, including messages sent by the bot and data logged.

Optional AI commands (such as /ask) send user prompts to a third-party AI provider. AI responses may be inaccurate or inappropriate. Do not rely on AI output for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions. Server staff control personality settings; misuse remains your responsibility.

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance. We do not guarantee that moderation, anti-raid, anti-scam, or logging features will detect or prevent all harmful activity.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stratus and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if the Service is free.

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server and clearing your dashboard session. We may terminate or limit access to the Service at our discretion. Sections that by nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitations of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
